Mobile Surgery Units (MSUs)
The surgical container units can be used for both minor and major surgeries, for example cesarean sections, orthopedic procedures and many other surgical procedures. The surgical unit consists of a 40ft standard shipping container that can be on a trailer for maximum mobility. The 40ft container is transformed into a medical facility with very robust characteristics.

The surgical unit contains:

  • an operation room

  • a pre- and post- operation room

  • a storage/ sterilization room

  • medical equipment

  • consumables

  • medicines for surgical procedures

Application -
A surgical unit is a high quality medical product that allows the medical provider to perform surgical care in disaster areas, conflict areas and hard to reach areas. Since the unit is mobile it can be driven directly to the desired location. Surgical procedures can start within hours after arrival on site, due to its mission-ready set-up.

The unit allows the medical provider to move health services, which creates maximum usability of health infrastructural investments in situations of abrupt health need or when health needs are fluctuating.

Details
All necessary technical installations are delivered with the unit, like an internal water purification system, water storage and energy supply through a generator. The generator is connected and secured on the front of the trailer.

The surgical unit is fitted with medical equipment and consumables for a complete medical solution. Our surgical units can be developed with a basic list of medicines and equipment to perform 2000 general surgeries. The configuration of the unit can be adjusted to fit local needs. Specific equipment or consumables can be arranged upon customers request.

Our Custom Metalized / Coating

Our innovative contribution: TTH was the first known company to spray metalized copper coatings on the inside of shipping containers used for portable clinics and have been metalizing products for 3 generations. Hospitals can provide numerous benefits for medical professionals and patients alike. These coatings are highly effective at reducing the risk of infection and the spread of disease due to copper's natural antimicrobial properties.

  • Copper is a highly durable and long-lasting material, which makes it an ideal choice for coatings in harsh and demanding environments. Shipping containers are subjected to extreme temperatures, moisture, and wear and tear during transportation, and the use of copper coatings can help protect against rust, corrosion, and other forms of damage.

  • Copper is an excellent conductor of electricity and heat, making it useful for maintaining a controlled and stable environment within the container. This can be essential for preserving the efficacy of drugs and vaccines and ensuring that medical equipment and instruments are kept in optimal condition.

  • Copper metalizing in summary offers a range of benefits for portable clinics and hospitals. These coatings can help to create a safer and more hygienic environment for medical professionals and patients, improve the durability of the container, and maintain optimal temperature and moisture levels. By incorporating metalized copper coatings, portable clinics and hospitals can provide the best possible care for their patients and help to reduce the risk of infection and disease.
